I'm thinking about big windows in the studio... Kind of like Allaire studios; the Neve room.
A room with 25% of glass surfaces would probably be very bright... Also, how much isolation do todays comercial windows offer? Does anyone know? Enough to not hear passing cars?
I also thought about some sort of "sunblinds" (the aluminium thingies people have in offices... you can adjust the level of light coming through...), but slightly oversized... Maybe wood "dressed" in rockwool. By adjusting the angle of the "acoustic sunblinds" I could also adjust the level of absorption, so I could go from dark to very bright...
What do you think?
studio with big windows?
