Hi i'm relativly new here and havent ever used sketch-up before so this was my first time. I'am setting ou to create a home studio in my basment wich is of brick construction and the dimensions for the live room are 14x11x7 the walls are bare brick and the floor is cheap vinyl layed on top of concrete, and the ceiling is plasterboard or drywall, i plan to make this place relativly sound proof and have decent acoustics, please note: i will also be using it as a rehersal space for my band. there is then a slight dip in the roof and width of the room as there is a supporting lintel here and then it goes back to normal size and the dimensions for this are this is where i plan to put the control room but iam open to suggestions. The brick cube thing in the sketchup drawing is ment to be simulating some stairs. By the way i have all the neccesary equipment to record but just need help on making my 'space' suitable for recording. I have a general idea wich i will post on my second post but iam happy to change it. My budget is reasonable 2-3k tops (iam happy to buy 2nd hand) and i would like somebody to explain how to block up the windows(if i need to they are double glazed) and on how i would construct the partion walls etc. I did mension its fairly sound proof apart from the ceiling i could do with some help on that. Sorry for all the mistakes (if their are any) i'am only 13.
I need help with the planning of my studio!!!

basement 1 is the room as is.
Basement 2 is the room with my idea of how to partion it
the small room is the control room and the door going of the pic is unmovable and needs to stay. I no its a bit messy but its mt first attempt ps the drawing is acurate and i missed out dimensions for the space beyond the large room their, 138x78x7 minus the stairs(9ftx29) although under the stairs their is space for a small vocal booth/amp room maybe.
all measurments are in inches unless otherwise stated.
