Hello I'm looking into buying a 22 x 77 ft space with 16 ft ceilings to build a studio. I'm currently in a smaller more confined area which I rent and built very cheaply. Ive totally outgrown the studio and find myself using other studios as much as I can. The space I've found is a very cheap and my mortgage will be lower then my current rent.
I'm trying to figure out what its going to take to build it out right. I basically just want a large tracking room, a large control room and a lounge. If space is left over I'd add a small iso which probably wouldnt get much use.
I'm thinking I can get together $20,000. Is this enough if you're doing most of the work yourself? Keep in mind I'd need HVAC and a bathroom. All the plumbing hookups are in place and working already.
Is 20k a joke if I want it done well?
Budgets..
