John and Other Guru
My Friend call me to help him build his studio. He had 800m2 land.
There will be coffe shop, parking and others shops in first floor. The upper floor will be recording studio.
So we have discuss and decide to built multiple facilities.
So before we going further, we'd like to gather much infos.
The idea are :
We'd like to have multi studios (control rooms) for different use, 1 large live room and each of control room/studio have lounge/pantry.
1. Control Room A (Studio A)
Mainly will be Mix Room and Largest Tracking Control Room. But we're not talking about huge rooms :)..just "enough" large.
Furniture/Sofa, Producer Desk, racks for outboard, machine room (if needed).
We'll equiped with PT HD3 and D-Control 24 Faders. Analog Outboards.
This Room also has 2 ISO booth for Drums/Vocals and Amp (Head+Cabinets). Capable for 5.1 surround mix.
Far/Medium Field Speaker Monitor. Near Field : Yamaha MSP10, Focal SM8, Genelec 8050.
2. Control Room B (Studio B)
Smaller Size, Project Studio Size, Overdub Project.
Equipped With PT HD2, Command8, Cinema Display. genelec 8040. Ideal for Mix too.
5-6 person inside (inlclude sound engineer).
1 Small ISO Booth for Drum and Vocals.
3. Control Room C (Studio C)
Smallest Room, For Soap Opera/TVC Overdubbing projects, Editing Suites, Small Project Overdub.
1 Small Vocal Booth.
4. Live Room
Capable for 15-20 pieces Small Orchestra/Choir, Live Band Recording.
5. Mastering Suites (For Future Expand)
The First Questions came up :
a. What is ideal size/dimension for each room? 2 floor or in same floor?
b. We'd like to Connect Live Room with Studio A & B, so CLient can order Control Room A + Live Room or Control Room B + Live Room.
c. Any Suggest welcome
Sorry for bad english, hope you understand...
regards...
