Greetings from your newest member!
I have a quick question about the placement of my monitors. I have an 11' 6" X 15" room on the second floor of my house that is an all purpose music room. It's pretty cramped for space right now since it home to drums, guitars, bass, keyboards, and my DAW.
There is a pretty large window sill that I am planning on utilizing. My plan is to basically get rid of my large computer desk and place the computer, monitors, and rack equipment inside it.
Can someone take a look at the picture and tell me if this is feasible, or will it cause stereo imaging problems due to reflections on the left side?
I've included a sketchup file of my room incase this is more helpful.
Thanks in advance for the help!
Update: I noticed that the origianl sketchup file I included was bad. Sorry for any confusion.
Bad Near Field Placement?

Is this sort of like a bay window? Maybe a picture of the real deal would help. Generally though, you should be centered in the room with your speakers on the short wall, and any sloping ceilngs sloping UP to your REAR as you face the speakers.
If you can post pix of the room showing what's where, it would help... Steve
