Hi I really appreciate some advice regarding reducing/removing standing waves and flutter echo in my very small tracking/mixing room. I have two critical surfaces which I must treat acousticaly: 1. Behind my back is the glass-brick wall and I'm unable to hang/put anything since I can't drill. It's a very reflective surface and only thing I can think of is some kind of acoustic blanket- something like quilted moving pad or heavy curtains which are ued in theatres on stages, hanging on some kind of frames. 2. On my left side (center position on the picture) is the closet. I can't move him and I really don't know what should I do. Any help is more than welcome. Thanks in advance. Sven
sorry can't help you, but where did you get that mic stand? i'm looking for something and have tried searches for 'broadcast mic stands' and goosenecks and blah blah blah :D
1. Taylor I bought the mic arm at BHPhoto&Video-the name is: O.C. White Elite Microphone Arm and Riser (Black & Gold) Mfr# 61900BG 2. Knightfly Please, accept my appologies for my ignorance and not following the standard procedure.
No problem - you got the location thing going, let me know if you need help with sizing your pic... and thanks for the info on the mic stand, I may be needing one like that soon as well (voiceover for industrial video productions) Steve
If you do voiceover/s you should check SE Reflexion filter. It's amazing for getting fine dry voice.
