screen rippling

hi, just put in a new console housing my desk, outboard, pc, etc, and suddenly my tft monitor is going mad, rippling and swaying. tried seperating the power leads from the vga cable, but no effect. could this be a heat problem? it is a little hot back there inside the cabinet, and it's the only thing i can think of. cheers

It may be; I've had same prob with one of my systems, but think it's the video card, inadequate cooling. It goes away when I aim a fan behind the 'puter - is there a way to direct a fan into the air space in your setup, at least for a test? Steve
