Venetian blinds aka Jalousie ok in a studio?

Hello, I like the look of Venetian blinds sometimes called Jalousie. Any one have any advice either way if they are ok in a studio? The rails are 5 cm and aluminum. Thanks for you input!

well, I tried venetians but I discovered also another alternative, check this out http://www.sooperarticles.com/home-impr ... 47010.html , verticals are great for a studio

I think venetian blinds go well in any room, they have an endless look. I have them in aluminium all over my two room apartment and they go well with the overall modern atmosphere, and my grandparents have them in wood in their house, creating a more traditional feel.
