Hi, me and my band have come across a flat that we may be able to rent and use as a sort of band room, but the problem is that this flat is centered right in the middle of a retirement village I.E. we need to isolate the flat as much as possible so that minimal sound will be let out of the building we're in
I dont have any experience with sound and isolation at all so i would be happy if you could recomend some materials for both wall and window isolation.. And as i said, this is for noisereduction, not acoustics
I would greatly apreciate any useful tips i can get
Need help conserning sound-isolation

Tip #3: Follow all of the guidelines in the "Before You Post" announcement.
Tip #4: Buy Rod's book.
Tip #5: Be prepared to let that location go. It seems like a far-from-ideal setup from what little has been said about it so far. :(
We're here to help when you've got more information to share... (Much more.)
