Ideas for a basement studio

Hi, I just acquired a used 32-channel console and I'd like to redesign my basement space. I started reading some of the recommendations for building and treatment of walls and floors, so I won't ask about it. Today I downloaded SketchUp and I played around enough to sketch out the attached 2D picture with wall dimensions and ceiling height among other things. I'd appreciate any ideas to make the best use of my space. I'll be on vacation in a couple of weeks so I'll have time to build. Thanks, Luis I'm located in Chicago, USA.
