Hello,
I've got what I think is a pretty unusual, stupid problem. I've got a few spiders living between my laminated glass and exterior fixed tempered glass. There's acoustic treatment that lines the window well, which I thought I installed pretty snuggly. I guess it doesn't take much room for a spider to crawl up in there.
So they're making webs and a mess of things inside my beautiful windows. Anyone else have this problem? Removing the glass on a regular basis to clean the space would be a real pain in the butt. Spraying for bugs is not a guarantee. Does anyone have any suggestions?
thanks!
andrew
Spiders between the glass

that's pretty funny (but not HAHA funny) :)
I guess removing one pane is the only option......
That sounds like a pane in the glass!
How is the wall constructed or treatment between the windows?
Magnifying glass and a halogen lamp?
Laser pointer pen?

'bout all I can suggest is to take one of the glass out ONCE - re-do whatever you're using for the perimeter cover to include (maybe UNDER black cloth) some bug screen - this is available in nylon as well as galvanized steel, and can be stapled in place without causing hard connection between frames.
Then clean thoroughly and replace the glass - unless the spidies can lay their tiny eggs THRU the mesh, should keep 'em in the walls (where they may improve insulation absorption a bit  ) Steve
