Hi there. Now I´m done building my studio (trondheim, norway). Thanks for all the help guys! Please allow some loading time for the pictures. http://bryggastudio.fortunecity.com Let me know what you think :D

.... It's sorta like a bombed-out, abandoned, subway station look nightclub thing... I like it. Quite a place you got there.
Aloha Sarath, Congrats on your studio build! Great job! :D I love the look of the brick wall/lighting. Would also like to hear some of your work if you get the chance. Here's to a job well done and a successful future  Aloha 8)
Awesome man, If that place sounds half as good as it looks your going to record a Grammy winner someday that is unless your recording that Norway Black Metal scene. For some reason they dont allow Hardcore bands to win Grammys. :( Your control room is about the size, shape and even facing the same direction as the one im building right now, If I get close to that design I will be a happy dude. However Im going without a control room glass I am using a video camera instead. I dont have the balls to tackle a double pane window yet. Great job man! I love it.
Nice work mate - thanks for sharing - it looks great! cheers John
Thank you for all your feeback. that means alot! Video comunication is cool, but I like the idea to have eye to eye contact with the artists. Yes we do record the Norwegian Black Metal scene, but not primary. The bands we have had in the studio so far, has been well known pop acts in our home town. Some pop-rock/soul, and some morrisey/the cure sounding stuff. can´t wait to share our work with you.
Very nice indeed; I see that any lanquage barriers do NOT include VISUAL communications... Steve

Woah. Can we see a 'not so nice' gesture? K
I can tell you about one! The first band we recorded in the studio managed to bump his guitar into the drywall... that sucks. The good news is we have so much booking these days, that we can´t seem to find time to repair the drywall damage. Thats good for bussiness. hawk
wow, that almost sounds like when I got me 2nd guitar. got to rehearsal the same night, the drummer wanted to try it and upon taking it from me he ripped ALOT of paint off it by hitting a table. how badly hurt is the drywall?
it´s a hole in a size of a fist. not so bad actually.
Hey Sarath. Do you have any written plans for the work station your buddy built? Its really nice, Id like to have a copy of any sketches or measurements if you could email them or post them? By the way, I love heavy music but Norwegian Black Metal even scares me a little bit. Are those guys really as scary as they lead on? It always seems like Norwegian and Swedish metal bands are the most extreme on the planet but I always wonder if the musicians are a crazy as their music? Black metal was pretty much invented in Norway. Though hardcore was not invented in Sweden, The Refused (I believe from Sweden) took it to a whole new level, and are probably one of my top 5 favorite bands of all time. Thanks man
hi! Inspiration for the work station is taken from a picture of a Argosy product called dual15 or something. We just tried to make it look similar, and constructed a 15 degree angle in the front of the desk. We measured the width to fit two 21" crt and lcd screens, and made room for tho racks on each side. If you measure up the dimmentions of you rack units, and the width of your screens, the measurements kind of speaks for them self. as for the norwegian black metal scene, there´s a lot of image poseurs and alot of "evil" and being "true". Some bands really are so extreme as they say, those who have understood the essens of black metal, and not the part of just being gay in a band.
That brick wall really add's a great feel to the room!!! Truly inspiring - thanks for sharing your pics with us! I wish you all the best with yoiur business!
