What's up with the quoting feature malfunctions?

This is really strange. The correct syntax for quoting stopped working recently when a name is used. It only seems to affect newer posts -- past posts seem to be OK. I have disabled BBCode in this post, but I'll follow it up with another post where the code is enabled so that you can see the results. [quote]This is an example of a quote without using the author's name.[/quote] [quote="sharward"]This is an example of a quote using the author's name (in this case, sharward).[/quote]

Here are the examples with BBCode enabled:

Someone has turned on "Allow HTML" in the Admin area of the board (under General Admin - Configuration - User and Forum Basic Settings). It's a known bug in phpBB... I just had the same problem on one of my boards! Hope this helps,
