I've searched for hours over the past few days for information on this and can't find it. Is 4" rockwool okay for a slot resonator wall? Is 2" rockwool better? or Does it matter? Thanks, Kelly
Aloha Kelly, Hey, how's it going?

I know there's a post covering this somewhere but anyway, 4" is fine if the price suits your budget. What you want to keep in mind is the density of your RW. Here's what was suggested when I first started out.
What you need to ask for is either rigid fiberglass, such as Owens Corning 703 (un-faced) or rockwool, mineral wool, somewhere between 2 to 4 pounds per cubic foot density; Johns Manville and Knauf also make similar products. Steve
I ended up ordering 7 bags of 3" X 24" X 48" Roxul AFB 2.5 PCF @ $53.76 /BAG 8 PC/BAG from AMS in Honolulu. Hope this helps, Aloha 8)
Aloha Kendale, Hey thanks for the quick reply brother. I hear ya on the price tag  . I may have some 4" left over when I finish my soffits and rear wall though and was trying to figure out the best place to place them. As usual, it's great to hear from you. I'm making slow progress. I decided to rip out my baseboards for my slat walls and make them 8' in length, rather than 10' in length. This allowed me to move them closer to the walls and gave me an additional six whole inches in the width of the room while maintaining the 12 degree angles. My camera took a dump but I hope to be posting pictures soon and transitioning into my Studio Build Thread :D !! Kelly
