Hi Guys... I'm a music producer in Puerto Rico and I work on gospel music productions and also arrange Caribbean, fusion and other spicy types of rhythmical music at my home studio, that has served me well for some years. Mainly I do all my work with virtual samplers midi workstations and a few modules on a Pro-Tools setup, but when my fingers start to complain and my head starts to swirl I call in the band to lay down some tracks and read some scores. At this moment I'm moving with my wife and kid's all my gear my dog and DRUMS..lololol.. to a new home all constructed in concrete, from foundation all the way to the top. This new house has four bedrooms and one will be used as my control room and the other that will be constructed in concrete as well will be the live room. But this time I want to do things the right way.
Actual Room size: CONTROL ROOM=
(L)-13 feet 6 inches
(W)-11 feet 10 inches
(H)-8 feet
Room to be constructed:
(L)-14 feet
(W)-17 feet
(H)-9 feet
I'm including the the room that will be made and the sketchup file.
Need some Ideas..Sketchup design included.

Wow that's a nice one Mr.Sayers...Thanks...I'm trying to figure out how to deal with my back wall an side walls in the control room. Due to the nature of this room does it mater to angle the corners or can I go on with three straight walls as in your design with the required acoustic treatment and just the 30-degree angled corners for the speakers? and also should I angle the ceiling or go for a cloud? The highest point inside the control room is 8 feet the 9 foot ceiling is really in the live room, so there is really not much I can probably angle unless I move the control room a bit further inside the Live room a few feet to take advantage of at least 12" to drop down an angle to the control room.
Thanks in advance Mr.Sayers for your awesome Illustration
