Tuning Slat Resonators and Bass traps - what frequency?

I have one small wall that will be a slat resonator (2.4x2.4m) and one corner that has a bass trap installed. I have downloaded the slat absorber spreadsheet and understand the basic principle but I am not sure what frequency I should aim for with each one when installing the slats. The room is a small multipurpose tracking room ie vocals, drums, gtars etc. I was thinking about 400-450db Any advice would be nice!! JG
This would depend on the room's main purpose, but more on the existing room modes; IOW, more info needed - all three dimensions, maybe a sketch of where you propose the trap to be built... For a room that's gonna do drums AND vox (guitars too for that matter) somewhere around 200-400 hZ is good, but placement can negate the effect in some cases; hence the request for a sketch, or a link if there's already one posted... I think you mean HZ, not db. :) If you've got 450db in your studio, your body would be melted by the blast of sound.
