I urgently need some advice on the Control Room as shown in the drawing. (apologies - for the poor diagram)
I am worried about the fact that the room is assymetrical (see opening on the left bottom corner) and consequently about the correct placement of corner bass traps.
I am also more or less forced to put the speakers on the "long" side of the room (7,1 m) rather than on the width (5,8 m) as per usual. For that reason I also cannot put them in the corners so again worried about corner absorption as well as the option to soffit mount the monitors.
Any ideas welcome

What do you think about this way, so you habe a symetric romm, you have a vocal booth and you are better isolated to the tracking room.

I like your idea a lot although I am not sure if it is easy t realise. There are 4 columns between the control and the live room which i forgot to mention or include in the drawing, so I have to look into that. Your proposition is interesting, so does this confirm that assymetrical rooms are really problematic and have a serious impact on acoustics?
