I am currently considering the chiller room concept that was outlined by knightfly. I wonder if in the winter one could line the chiller room with small oil heaters and achieve the same effect? And I wonder if the exhaust port would cause too much heat loss in the winter from the outside air? I am also thinking about putting my pc and monitor power amp in that room as well and running some really long extension cords(monitor, keyboard, mouse ,usb, etc) to the control room and maybe even using a usb burner then wouldn't even have a need to go into the chiller room other then for filter cleaning or pc maintenance.
I think there'd be too much heat loss without some sort of heat exchanger setup - do a search (top of the page here) on HRV - Sharward has done quite a bit of research on these. They're not cheap, so there may be cheaper ways... Steve
