Hello, I am an architect and preparing a budgetary cost estimate for a new recording studio. Our client is converting an existing 26'x28' office area into a TV recording studio. This job is in a 40+ floor building in New York City. Since this is only budgetary, cost breakdown is not necessary. This is my first time doing studio cost estimate. I need help on the cost for the "lighting support grid" (don't know the proper name) that hangs from the ceiling structure, which supports all the lightings. I was told it's made out of metal pipes or similar. What would be the overall cost of constructing such grid (materials + labor) for a room 26'x28' or 728 SF? Just a ball park figure would be great. Thanks for your input. GG
