Hello I have finished building my control room....and now im still kinda stuck on how to go about treating it properly...i have attached a few sketches that show the dimensions other than the Height which is 6'9". So I guess im asking for help/guidance in planning what to do to optimize my room. Also I am still a little lost about building traps and absorber panels and the different ways to make them....I've already read the link...but if someone could just explain to me how to do it the proper way I would really appreciate it. Also I researched in ROXUL mineral wool for maybe maing traps...I have included the absorption co-efficients in an attachment...is it better/worse/same as using rigid fibeerglass or shoul di use a combination of the two? what about using different types of absorbers for the room (ie panel 4"thick against wall, spaced from the wall, wood front, diff thicknesses, etc) Oh and i forgot the floor is carpeted...THANKS for any input it really helps...and this site rules such a good resource

This is better in "Studio Design." Where are you? The only Kelowna I am of aware of is in BC Canada. Roxul materials can be used for sound absorption no problem. If you are in Canada, have a look at Roxul's "Safe'n'Sound". It is the value leader of the Roxul products. Yes it is not "Safe and Sound." Welcome to the world of insulation marketing! Andre
