Attic Studio

John, Thanks for moderating this forum, it has been very helpful. I work in both the audio and film industries and am building out the attic space above my garage into a studio. The rooms ceiling will be at 10 feet with exposed collar ties at 8'. The main room is 20'9" by 13'3". The other room is 9'10"x9'9". The goal of studio is two fold. I want to be able to record music including live drums and mix 5.1 surround in the control room for mix to picture projects. I have approximatly $5000 to work with for construction costs. I also have an electronic projection screen and projector that requires a throw of 15 feet to work effectively. I am looking for design ideas for this space. Your input would be greatly appreciated.
