Hey this is my first post. Well I am in Virginia Beach, Virginia. I am an Audio Post Engineer. I am in the process of converting one of my rooms into a studio for post production and some music. I have read many posts in this forumn and many in Ethans Winer's great stuff. I am a Full Sail Graduate and have been in the recording field for five years or so. Well I am going to post the drawnings of what I am thinking of doing. I have already bought I pack of 2'' 703 and that was a bit pricey. So for the rest I will use some 2'' mineral wool. I plan on making some removable sound boxes to cover the windows. There are two of these. Something like two layers of drywall on inside with 703 on the outside. I will seal this airtight. Ok my room Dimensions are 11.1x11.3x8 thats LxWxH. I know this is not a great room to use but its what I have. So I am hoping with the drawnings below someone can tell me what they think. I have also included drawings of the walls and Ceiling with the treatments that I will be putting up. In the corners right now i have some foam base traps(yes i know i put them up before i knew) I will leave them and just make some panels using 2'' 703 or mineral wool. I will mount these 4'' off the wall, which will take up 6'' all around my room, but hey thats the game right. My computer is in the closet and has a sound proof enclosure that I have built in the corner for it.(I still have to fiugure out how to keep it cool) Any help opinions would be great. I will be looking to do this in the next few months. anyway Im trying to make sure I dont leave anything out because i read the rules and stuff and well we all know what happens when you dont. The equipement that I have : Monitors: KRK RP8 Board: Mackie 1640 w firewire option Software: Nuendo Mics: MXL 2003, C1 Monitors: 2-19'' LCD Again thank you all for any help. Take care Ryan :D

Aloha and welcome to forum, Ryan :D Congrats on your studio build! Say, any chance you could edit that third group of photos? This will cut down on having to scroll back and forth to read yours and everyone else's posts. (It's also part of the forum guidelines.) Thanks! Looking forward to to your build! Aloha 8)
Aloha Ryan, Thanks for resizing your pics! :D Uh....but they're a little too small to see your measurements now. Any chance you might up-size them too about 700 pixels wide? Sorry about that, my bad! Aloha 8)
That is the best i can do. I do not know how to make it 700. i tried but it just wouldnt do it.
Aloha Ryan, That's cool. Thanks for trying, anyway. Aloha 8)
