"Unfamiliar" is a nice word.. :-) Although I am a strong believer of experimentation... I usually try to keep that outside the build until proven. I think the two things (there were more than 2) that sent up the flags for me on that build were the Euro-American AMPS conversion :?: ... and the Bicycle tube. Unless he has found some SUPER-tube out there somewhere, that thing won't last a season. Since when have you stored your bike for 5-6 months and then gotten it out and the tires haven't needed pumping up?
To me it seemed as though he just planned for the end result and not the long run. This is a VERY easy trap to fall into. I would caution builders not to take too much advice from that page, but that's just me.
