Aloha Buzz, Welcome to the forum. Nice drawing! For starters, could you edit your profile to include your general location, please? This bit of info sometimes determines the kind of advice offered due to availability of materials, cost, codes, etc. Also, could you either trim off the white areas or resize your attachment in order to avoid having to scroll back and forth. Both are part of the forum guidelines stated here: http://johnlsayers.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=4063 Thanks. Aloha 8)
Thanks Kendall I fixed the file ! , I was thinking of useing a radiused bass trap at the back of the control room to cover most freq's , also putting down Pergo or wood in half of the control room and carpet in the rest. The tracking room ( center room ) has carpet and regular drywall walls 5/8" I was going to put up hanging rugs on several of the walls for damping Later Buzz I'm making this so it can be reversed without to much of a problem if I decide to sell the house in the next few years .
You still need to edit your profile, add your location, then scroll down and click the "Submit" button. This is very important.
Done the profile is now accurate !! , any suggestions ??? Thanks Buzz
Since you'll be selling in a few years, are you opposed to constructing any walls within the room(s)? BTW, hanging carpet/rugs on walls isn't a good idea... There are a lot of threads here on the forum that explain why -- mold and dust are two of them. --Keith
