ok how about in the midwest?
sure. hes in australia so i figured he would be hard to get at. maybe if john is interested and thinks it if beneficial for him. lemme explain more. Our company NRmusic is a production company in the states. We mainly do hip hop and urban/dance. Currently we are in a facilty under lease. its 19'000 Sq feet and really nice. we have enjoyed our time here but we wanna cut cost. The current facility was already built and the rooms are really nice. Our lease is up so we are moving to a new place that is only 4000 square feet which around 2200 of it isnt developd. just skeleton. So we need to design our studio to fit into this much smaller space. most importantly A nice control room and isolation booth for vox. We would love to be able to do drums but like i said a hip hop label that mainly does vox and electronic production. Our biggest concern is that it looks nice and comfortable/stylish and that the control room is accurate as it can be. I am a producer and cant even pretend to know too much about acoustics. I read through a lot of post on this forum and really it just makes my head hurt. Give me a sampler and a technics 1200, protools and a properly labelled patchbay and im all good. you guys can handle the rest. That said John i would love to talk and see if we have room in the budget to use you. Like i said its a small project but we know we want it done right. Or if you know someone that you will vouch for. Small project big design team
If you check out John's portfolio, you'll see that he has designed numerous studios all over the world with very positive feedback from his customers, in spite of his location in Oz. You really should talk with him. 8)
Another heads up for John, the location makes no difference you just get your contractor to work from his plans and if you get stuck call him or email him. It's that easy!!
