My "home studio" with a "pro theme" is most of a garage loft, which is about 23'x13' give or take. The garage loft was "finished", but not really well. Most of the old 1940's insulation was "stolen" by mice that the prior/original owner of the house ignored for decades, and the walls/ceilings were covered in broken, cracked, rotting, falling down tongue and groove cedar panels. I like cedar, but not when it's in such horrible condition. A good loud sneeze in this place would result in paneling falling from the ceiling, or worse - mouse poop falling through the gaps between the boards, into your coffee.
And there were some structural issues I wanted to address as well. The ceiling in some areas was only 7' high, and in other places, a mere 6'4" or so. I'm 5'11" barefoot, so I found it a bit claustraphobic.
Any, here is the initial design, which I strayed off quite a bit. The sofa in the picture isn't there, and instead that's the area I placed all my synthesizers, on stands.

It's almost finished, finally. I have four small pieces of moulding to paint and hang, some wiring to do, an outlet cover to add, a woofer to replace, and I need to clean the darn floor.
If you want to view the studio in a 2.5mb "360 view" it's kinda lame but the best I can do with my digital camera (takes about a minute or so if you have broadband):

And of course, insted of forcing you to wait for 300 pictures to load in this thread, I'll instead link you to my new homepage and you can click through at your leisure:

When you arrive at my page, on the left is some menus, just click "studio" about 2/3 of the way down.
Hope you're all well, and happy holidays!
