Hi guys, need some assistance re the DIY wall unit plans. The text says 25mm , 50mm, 75mm slats alternating with gaps from 6mm to 12mm however the picture shows what appears to be (2) 50mm followed by (2) 100mm slats with indeterminate gaps. What is the exact process and does it matter what gaps come between which size slats?
The second part of the question is re the corner units; the imperial unit has one side effectively 25" wide (measured from corner apex to leading edge) and the other 24" i.e. asymmetrical. No probs except the metric plan has both having an effective width of 620mm i.e. symmetrical.
The accompanying studio picture visually appears to support the asymmetrical model with the front right hand unit having it's longer side against the front wall and the left with it's long edge against the left wall. The back wall appears to be a diagonal reverse of that just to further confuse my notions of symmetry.
Again , is there a correct process or am I navel gazing -any takers on this one ?
Cheers, Ross

So far as the gaps and specific when and where, it is more of a cosmetic think. You have the numbers which provides the frequencies of cancellation, now make it "pretty"
I.E. with my resonators, I had 3/4" 1/2" and 1/4" gaps, and I just varied them visually, I alternated the slats visually, not mathmatically. Doesnt "jack" up your calculations just adds to visual beauty.
So far as the 1" differential, I think you are navel gazing. LOL
perhaps it was a type/translation erro and the one side should have said 23" instead of 22"
