Can anyone enlighten me on the Oz equivalent of 703 / 705. Am wanting to build slats and also wondered if I'd get a reasonable result stuffing the gap with heavy duty off the shelf Batts in lieu of the rigid fibreglass .

Search the Materials forum you will find suppliers for Rockwool in Aussie.
John and Bryan, thanks for your replies; I have seen that insulco catalogue and it has no mention of semi-rigid materials. I was hoping John you could identify exactly what insulation you use here in Aust for slats.

In Alice you'll probably have to get it sent up from Adelaide on the flash new train.
Try your local aircon/insulation company - they'll have it in their books.
