Hi,
first off, thanx to john for giving us a hand with this design a couple of months back.
The problem is, ive gotta have a window in there for abit of ventilation from time to time and natural light.The ONLY place I can have a window is on the wall which is 19' 3" and it cant be in the vocal booth.Basically I need to redesign the room somehow so that I can have a window somewhere on the 19' 3" wall.The front door to the entrance can be moved to anywhere on the 16' 5" and the 19' 3" wall.Id still like the vocal booth if I get it in there but its not essential.I hope its not too much to ask but id be really gratefull if someone can help me with this coz I really dont know much about studio design.
The building work has finally started y-day out the back.The actual building wont be done for a while but wanna get it sorted soon so we can decide where the window is gonna go.
I've included the sketchup file if anyone would care to lend a helping hand.

Ok, Dont know if this is feesable or not, but its worth a go. You
could have the outer window opening outwards, and the
inner window just ajar as not to spoil the stereo imaging by putting
a large piece of glass between the speakers! :lol:

I take it the brown box next to the door to the booth is a window
right? Well if it is, this should work, as it maintains a symetrical
room to the listening position.

I think the first one would be better.
I currently work with a window looking out into me garden,
and its pretty cool. 8)
I thought the second one might be better for stereo imaging
in the room.
