I'm a beginner when it comes to making beats, I'm currently rapping and would like to move in producing also. What's a easy and fun software to use to produce beats and what's a good computer I would need to run this on? I'm looking only to spend no more than $1500 for the set up. Can anyone help a brother out.

This website would be entirely the wrong forum for your question, as people are interested in building studios not production set-ups. You'll get better answers to your question at futureproducers.com. I'd suggest, if you're only into software systems, FL Studio (fruity loops) or Reason 3.0. Beyond that, please go to futureproducers.com or illmuzik.com. People at those forums are more in the area you're looking at. This website is more about making actual control rooms, live rooms, vocal booth, etc...
