Has any of you guys encountered a building that used this material ( SIP (Structural Insulated Panel) for a studio? If so what about the sound containment to stick build. I am interested and want something that can have long spans big space to go in any direction with interior wall without the load bearing issue. In the curious stage now. thanks for any info at all.
Have you got any links to the material for us to look at? len
I've seen that kind of material. My problem is the styrofoam inner lining - whilst it's great for heat - its useless for sound. cheers john
OK I read it after I posted and it seemed a little kooky. I would think just to brick that wall outside and give it mass. What do I know.....But i did get the impression that it could be a headache. Sorry for bringing up bad memories. 8)
