Hi, I just purchased a home with a pre-built media room. All four walls are concrete then finished with insulation and drywall. Room dimensions are Length - 18' 11" Width 17' 0" Height 7' 10" Typical Rectangle I use the room as a recording and mixing environment and have the primacoustic London 12 acoustic foam kit plus additonal side panels and bass traps. Floor is carpeted and all walls are finished. I want to put my panels up and would like advice as you where in the room my near-field Tannoy active monitors and subwoofer should be placed. Currently my monitors sit 25 inches (from back corner of monitor) from the front wall. Monitors are 44 inches apart from center of woofer. Is that distance far enough from the front wall? I've attached a room mode calculation but don't know if this is of any help. Thank you, Jepse
