Has there ever been a CONVENTION for this site?

As I spend hours and hours on here (my wife can attest to that) as I'm sure many do, the thought came to my mind about ALL the people that come on this site and the help they've recieved, are recieving, or will recieve to build their studios. I know before it's all over with I will donate something to this site. There's NO QUESTION that most of us (including me) would be LOST without the wealth of info here. I've got to give John and the moderators their "props" for helping like they do. With all that said, could you imagine if we all could get together in some central location? Share ideas, experiences (good and bad) and pictures of past projects, current projects, and future projects? Hey, maybe it's already been done and I missed it...Maybe it's even been discussed before and it's in the works...All I know is I'm CONSTANTLY reading info on one post, then I click a LINK in that post to another post and sometimes even to another, and a lot of times each post is by a different person...that tells me there are many on this site. I really like this forum... Maybe I'm dreamin' but all I know is "if only"... Stan

I too have sometimes thought of how cool it would be for a big John Sayers Productions Forum Megameet to take place! Not to be too pessimistic, but I'm guessing that since we're all so geographically dispersed throughout the world, it would be hard to pick a location that would draw enough critical mass.
