Help – studio design – consultant needed We Geoff and myself (Damien) at Pony Music are going to build a new complex. This will be the third Pony Music complex. We are still in the design phase, but about to sign a We are after some help, a much as we can afford. . Our budget is about $70,000 all done, that’s design, and construction. We are after a consultant to help with studio design & construction ideas. The premises will have 8-10 rehearsal rooms (bands playing as loud as 110db+) and a recording studio (control room and 1 or 2 live rooms). We are close (100m or so) to a major rail line, with freight trains. We want the rehearsal rooms to look AND sound good (most sound bad). We want to be able to record in the studio while all rehearsal rooms are full, and not hear rehearsal spill…….and the studio to sound great. The design at the moment is to build with straw bales. This is all inside a concrete factory. The rehearsal rooms can be as large as 7m L x 5m W x 4m H. the studio larger if needed. I have made a bunch of calls….and have got some scary prices to draw plans only….. Who can help. Who wants to help. Please help. Please call me if you would like to get involved and can help.
