i have used the search on this forum to find the basic rules that comply to building a studio. i could not find a list. everything i have picked up so far i have read through others experiences. i just figured if we had a simple basic list of rules with easy access, it may ansewer others questions quickly. sorry if there is already such a list.
one other thing, i will be putting up a pole building next year for use as a garage. i grew up with a 40'x60' garage and loved it. i have plans to build a 40'x80' garage and use 20' to 30' of one end as a studio. i know it is big, but i like the room and will take advantage of it if i have it. things i am considering, control room, live room, 2 iso booths, 1 drum booth, an entry and lobby area, small bar area, and bathroom. i will be able to pull into the garage and unload equipment. i am currently trying to figure out the studio space, but am having trouble with the basics needed.
basic rules? huge space
