A "friend" of mine is trying to use his spare bedroom as a studio, but the thing is tiny.
Isolation is not a big issue, Primary use is just for recording vocals and mixing. I've attached a layout. Can you help me John? Anybody?

Can your friend tear down the closet walls?
How about something like this? (I admit that I made your console a little smaller...)
We were trying our best to get a vox booth in that space without tearing down the wall, and building an addition. Isolation from the outside isn't that bad, but the noise from the rest of the house and the PC noises make it difficult to record vocals sometimes. Right now an Auralex Max wall is being used as a barrier between the console and the mic.
The control room that you designed is nice. If we decide to add to the room, we'd probably do it that way with the additional space on the other side of the right wall with glass doors connecting.
DreaminDrumBeats,
The closet is actually useful storage space (small house, not much storage). If we can get around building an addittion for a vocal booth, I'm sure the closet can go.
