hi. Studio design help plz

Hi,first off I want to say this is a great site and ive learnt alot of valuable stuff that I would probably never find out without finding his place :D .Ive spent hours just reading through stuff learning about studio design. Right im 20 years old so still quite young and dont really know that much stuff about studio design etc.I want to know if anyone can help me with the design so i can occupy the space ive got in the best way?. My room dimesions are 12'-2" ,16'-5" ,19 ' Basically I just want a control room and a vocal booth and dont think ill ever be recording any live instruments bcoz my music is based on electronic stuff.I have done what I think may be a good way to have it inside,but maybe you guys can help me out in making it better?.I have included a sketchup of my plan up to now.Also i have put the bass traps in all 4 corners for now ,but if I can rearrange it to make it better I will do.I havent decided if Im gonna go with the slat resonators or get some auralex stuff yet?,I guess the slat resonators are better?.I deffo want to build the basstraps though myself.Oh yeh there is supposed to be a window inbetween the 2 basstraps and my monitors,and a door to enter the studio on the opposite wall to where the vocal booth is.The window can be placed in a differnt place,but the door has to be somewhere on the same wall. I would be really gratefull if soemone could help me out. Thanx in advance :D :D :wink:

Ive uploaded again ,I think it will work now.Oh yeh the actual ceiling height is not to scale in the sketchup file but im guessing its gonna be around 8 feet when its built.

Kurt - neither of those are sketchup files so I've deleted them to save people the trouble. could you make a 2D export and post that picture file? cheers john

shouldn't make any difference at all - I've loaded mac versions before. could you add the dimensions and turn off perspective. cheers john

Just a couple of quick questions. Should I fill behind the rear slanted wall with insulation?, and for the soundproofing ,will it make any difference if I put a floating floor in or not?.The actual building wont be attached to anything,it will be a sepearate building out in the back yard.Thanx again for your time.
