I have one 2'x4' 3" thick 703 absorber I need to place. I have all corners taken care of and I have one wall to ceiling spot to the left of the mixing position that is not covered. On the right hand side I cannot install an absorber due to a door and staircase. The absorber I have has no foil. By installing it on the left side it would make the room non symmetric. WOuld that be a problem? I read many places that for bass absorption one needs not worry about symmetry but I am concerned that this will also absorb mid-high frequencies.
Thanks,
Roberto

With no facing, it will definitely also absorbt mids and highs and could cause non-symmetry issues.
If you have just one, I'd suggest maybe using it as a ceiling reflection abosrber. The extra thickness will still help in the lower mids/upper bass.
