This small space has been offered to me for little to no rent. Do you think I could make a control room and performance room out of it? The small room already built I'm thinking could be an iso booth. I would like to record bands with a 5 piece kit, bass, guitar, vocals, rhodes and track as much as possible live. What would you all suggest?
Help me Carve up this small room

Nevermind I thought I was going to be clever but then started to really look at the drawing again and changed my mind
Thanks John that's similar to what I cam up with as well. I'm just not sure how much room to add to the control room. What would you suggest for the entry into the performance room? Are those sliding glass doors in your drawing?
I'm sure they are. :)Are those sliding glass doors in your drawing?
yes - I put in a sliding glass door to make it feel bigger and more open.

And would the brown areas be the wall units descibed on your site? I forgot to mention that the celings are 9 feet. What additional treatment would be needed? How thick should the walls be? Considering space is limited do I have to double the wall up?
John can you tell me if the treatments you have illustrated can be accomplished with the wall unit designs on the site? If so what is the best way to secure these units to the wall? Do they just free stand? Also with the ceiling being 9 feet tall what is the best way to acheive this height? Can I just stack two units on top of each other? Would be ok to go up 8 feet and leave 1 foot untreated. 8 feet is a little bit easier to acheive with the standar lumber lenghts here. hans for all the help.
