Do they make a 4# fibrex rock wool? If you guys think its just as good as 703 at 1/3 the price, guess what I'm getting :D

Yes Fibrex makes a 4 lb / cu ft rockwool. Did you miss something in my post? Call the local dealers looking for the best product/price. In my neck of the woods Roxul safe n Sound is the price bargain being about one third 703 in similar thickness. The Safe N Sound is 3.5" thick, but the absorption is comparable to 703. Call your local commercial insulation companies and ask. Andre
