sharward - Re: an earlier comment - no. The windows are sort of arbitrarily placed and sized. I was kind of new to the program when I started and never bothered to measure them out properly. Everything else is scale though.
DreaminDrumBeats - re: your earlier question - the dimension from the wall with the 2 windows to the support post is 11'8"-11'10" or so.

One more question after looking over a lot more posts...
It seems that a lot of the room designs I'm seeing have the rooms physically removed from one another and using 2 doors to get from room to room. Is this only useful in a floating floor situation? If not, should I modify my design to allow for that kind of setup?

It's applicable with or without a floating floor. If you can keep each room frame isolated from each other you improve your isolation.
