would this be a good diffuser?

Hi everybody! Today I made a cube design for a diffuser. Would it work if it was build out of 10x10x10 cm woodblocks? Thank you, Carsten

It will diffuse, but over a narraow frequency band. Maybe an octave. Andre

Is it because the cubes are all the same size? What if I would use different sizes of cubes? (20,15,10,5cm) Or should a diffuser per se be very irregular? I like the cube design because it also looks good (reminds me a bit of M.C. Escher) Carsten

Cool! Thanks, Harald! The amount of info is amazing. And so is the help you get from the people here! I hope one day I can contribute more to other peoples projects.
