Hi I am about to begin construction on a tough to build mastering studio in the basement of my house. The room is rectangular with 12 (ft) length by 10 width dimentions. The ceiling is 7.5 feet from the floor. 2 of the walls have conrete behind them. The back wall and the left wall (if facing front). What would be my best bet in terms of fiberglass pannels and traps, foam, etc. There are no windows or pipes anywhere in the room and the door is located at the very back of the right wall (again if facing front).
Ok here is a quick picture of what the place looks like. Any thoughts for a mastering only studio?

John, Anyone?
Honestly can anyone help with the mastering layout? Remember that this is not a control room so it differs from most layout designs on this forum.
go do some searching you might find what your looking for.
Mate - even though it's not a control room it still has the same problems acoustically. Like the parallel walls problem, the long verbtime problem etc. It's really just a control room with non soffit speakers - I suggest you start from there. BTW could you please update your profile so we know where you come from. cheers john
