This is an outline of how my room looks like. I've had probs with my vocals. They have so much bass. The walls of the booth are made of chipboard. I've lined up some blanket and carpet,on the side that has the glass. On the opposite wall,I have some 4" foam. The other walls have egg trays and also the ceiling. The floor has a plastic mat. Have I dne the right thing here? Let's get to the control room, here,I play keyboard and attime do group recordings i.e dramas, mass choirs. The walls are plain. I tend to experience some kind of resonance esp. on the bass side. Also some, kind of harsh reverb. I'd like to treat the room to suit my mixing. Am ready to work on both rooms to improve the sound quality.I don't have access to Auralex and maybe the commercial ways of room treatment. Any advice and suggestions would be highy appreciated.

Hope you don't smoke in there, you've got a lot of flammable stuff.

I believe you could use the search function and go read on the SAE website, in the reference material section. After that, you may receive an answer. People here are giving answers for free, so it would be nice to be patient, polite and to do a little by yourself before just asking for a quick answer.
