Acoustic design and treatment? plus equipment layout?

Hi all, I have am building a live tracking space/ rehearshal room and a sm. control room. here is alink to my construction questions and answers. http://www.johnlsayers.com/phpBB2/viewt ... 7660#27660 I am planning on making a drop cieling about a ft. below the concrete cieling. Using metal studs and 2 sheets of 1/2" sheet rock. What type of insulation between bottom of cement cieling and above the studs and sheetrock? I have the ability to slope all the cielings and /or???? attached is a basic layout of the spaces. I would like help with Acoustic treatment bass traps asorbers etc...and equipment layout ( Drums -5 piece kit...Guitar and multiple amps and bass direct to mixer / PA). Thanks a lot!!! Hey Steve, thanks for the link. (insane drum miking info.)!! Here is what I have so far for equipment layout and basic audio cable runs (from the floor..up the walls) and electrical outlet locations( from cieling droppiong down). Guess I should post acoustic questions in the proper forum. The small corridor room was going to be a optional vocal room / amp room? Well if any of you guys have any thoughts on equipment placement and what not I'd be super stoked to hear it :D Thanks! John

John - is the top door the only entrance or is there a door at the bottom where it says 4ft?? cheers john PS - glad you liked the drum miking page :)
