I was a my local Home Depot today, and they had a number of rigid insulation products in various thicknesses, but no 703. Are there other products that are functionally equivalent to 703?
Live room got framed today! Control room starts tomorrow! Nothing like a little progress............
703 Equivalents?

Generic term for 703 is "3 lb/ft^3 fiberglass bat insulation." Most of the time anything from 2 to 5 lb/ft^3 will do fine. Also in our field, rockwool of 2.5 to about 8 lb/ft^3 is the same animal. The 703 equivalent is 4 3lb/ft^3.

The only rigid insulation my local Home Depot carries is the closed-cell polyiso, polystyrene, etc... You'll want the open-cell insulation w/ the densities AVare listed.
You won't find 703 @ HD. Look through your local yellow pages under insulation and look for a supplier. Make a few phone calls and you'll probably find it or something similar.
