Hi Hugo, are these windows double or single pane windows? If they are double they don't work!!! Don't angle them, as Steve and Rod often point out this is weakening the TL. The main reason for doing this is to have no optical reflections. Is the frame a hollow frame with several spaces for thermal isolation? I'm not sure, but if so, I think it will perform very weak. I would go for solid wood then. Florian

two windows with single pane

Sound reflexion is not the reason??

I don't know exactly but I think it's hollow frame...
two windows with single pane
So that's fine if the are thick enough with enough airspace between. Depends on your needs.
Sound reflexion is not the reason??
As I know so far, decreasing the airspace in the MSM of the two panes is worse in terms of TL than the ""threat of flutter echo"" Unless you are in the position to provide a wide airspace, but hardly ever one is.... :(

I'm not the one who can really judge this, but this may be a problem. If you already have them you could try it and if it turns out to be a problem, you could drill the frame and inject something to make it solid!!!?? Naturally Steve can tell you a lot more on this. Florian
