Plans for new bedroom studio

Check the attachment for plan. Currently I'm working in a 13x10x8 spare bedroom. I plan to extend the existing room to be 25x10x8, and add an entrance from outside, to keep traffic out of the house. The control room in the plan is the current space, with a few modifications on the walls. Take a look and let me know what you guys think. I'm very new to this site and design, so bear with my rookie drawings and lack of knowledge concerning accoustics. Cheers, J

John, That's Almost exactly what I thought when I firs saw the design. I like the idea of having a small booth for vocals, but I'm sure it's not an absolute must. Do you think that it's just too small of a space for a separate room? And the door to the outside would be best placed on the opposite side of the studio room. Other than that, we're on the same page. Thanks a zillion, j
