First of all: Thank you for a great forum! Well, Mr Middle: You are not the onelyone who will make a studio inspired by John, though.... Thank you for great inspiration, John I have a studio in Florø, the westcoast of Norway. Untill now I've been working in a sort of LEDE controlroom that i buld myself for 7 years ago. After reading in this forum for a couple of month i reworked my studio with the informatin given here.. The room sounded so "right" that i had to move my gear from my controlroom to my studio and start to rebuild my controlroom.. So. My question is: Am i on the right track to do the best out of my situation? The room is 16x16 feet with a spooky height of 7 feet. The angeled side walls will be slot resonators, maybe a slot resonator in front and soft mount speakers in corner built of 12 mm plywood on a solid frame, stuffed with insulation . Planning to have a fals wall in rear with hangers behind. Does it help to have a fals ceiling with 50 mm rockwool acoustic sheets slooping down to aprox one feet in front to zero in back? (dont need to stand uprise in front of the contolroom). (the walls and ceiling are made of 16mm drywall on both sides of a wooden 6inc frame filled with rockwool) PS: masurement in drawing is in CM Any feedback will be deeply apreziated. :) :?:

The exact front geometry is more like this with a 30 degree angle for the speakers ;) cheers john

Sorry. My speakers are in a 35 degree angel. The 55 degree writing i the plan is from the side wall. Will the 35 degrees work (allready built  ) I have a pair of Meyer HD2 monitors with a very narrow hig frequenzy spreading, so i thought of it as a goood idea to make the speakers a little overangeled... :?: Thanx a ton than you are willing to share your knowledge John :)
