Here is a very basic shaping of my studio in stechup file (I hope this is right, it's the first time I am using it...) www.multimania.com/tenkas/studio.skb The drum is in the same room as the control room, there is a very small basement window on the wall that is not drawn, but that's not a problem, I can block it. (I have stolen a few objects from your design john... sorry for that but I am not very good in drawing 3d!) :P thx
I also forgot to add that I cannot destroy the walls or anything. I can build anykind of mobile or semi mobile treating, but the thing is killing me just to think about of perfect geometry! All dimensions are true.
The model seemed a little odd here tenkas! Maybe its a bit to basic? What about that missing wall?? Maybe, just maybe(I'm no expert on SketchUp) you should post the studio.skp instead of the *.skb file if all the walls are present in your sketch. -Leif
This is the first time I export in stechup, one of my friends uses it for serious stuff but he's out for a while so I am here, clueless of how to share my files... Well the design I did is pretty simple and I took a wall off so you could see the inside. It's the real dimensions of my room, and I think that's the important thing. I just want to know what are the possibilities for acoustic treatment... actually only have rockwool all over the place, and it doesn't work anymore for me. As I said, I am ready to begin my education with sketchup, so anyone with help, you are welcome. Thx
Hi added a few modifications (all the walls are up), plus I added some acoustic treatment. I would like to know if my room will sound good after these modifications. Thx here is the link to the file : www.multimania.com/tenkas/studio.skp
Anyone had a little time to check out my sketchup plan? I would really like to know if it is possible for me to get good acoustic in my room, or should I just pack rockwool like I am currently doing.
